The Deluxe Double Room amazed me with its spaciousness and really comfortable bed. Everything felt luxurious and clean. John, the host, truly stood out. he provided personalized breakfast options and had so much local knowledge to share about Moffat and Scotland. I appreciated the warm welcome and felt very safe as a solo traveler. Small detail, but the ironing facilities came in handy for my attire. The only downside was the tight staircase leading to the room, which required a bit of careful navigation. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would definitely return because everything else was so delightful.

We enjoyed our stay in a delightful Deluxe Double Room. The location was perfect for exploring the village. A tip , be prepared for tight stairs! We loved the cozy atmosphere and easy access to local shops.

Breakfast was a delightful experience, chatting with John while enjoying the amazing freshly made smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Just a heads-up—accessing the room can be a bit tricky with the steep stairs, but it’s totally worth it. I'm looking forward to visiting again!
